Carolina Cruz-Neira Agere Chair Professor, University of Central Florida

Carolina is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a pioneer in the areas of virtual reality and interactive visualization, having created and deployed a variety of technologies that have become standard tools in industry, government and academia. She is known worldwide for being the creator of the CAVE virtual reality system.

Heather Haseley Co-Executive Director, Learning Futures Collaboratory & Lead Design Architect, Next Generation Learning, Arizona State University

The ASU Learning Futures Collaboratory is a collective action, community-driven incubator and accelerator for third-horizon initiatives aimed at making learning more inclusive, learner-centered, exploratory, and immersive. Before joining ASU, Heather served in leadership roles at UPenn, Northwestern University, and Columbia University, fostering innovation in learning through the creation of new centers, programs, communities of practice, and learning experiences.

Dan Munnerley Co-Executive Director, Learning Futures Collaboratory & Lead Design Architect, Next Generation Learning, Arizona State University

The ASU Learning Futures Collaboratory is a collective action, community-driven incubator and accelerator for third-horizon initiatives aimed at making learning more inclusive, learner-centered, exploratory, and immersive. Dan has led transformational projects in higher education and the private sector in Australia, UAE, USA and the UK. He was a lecturer in fine arts and visual design before working on building new learning spaces and architecting next-generation curriculum.

Thomas Hurkxkens Lead New Media and Innovation, Imperial College London

As cofounder of the Immersive Technology Initiative at Imperial College London, Thomas aims to bring together teachers, students and creative professionals to design effective and engaging academic education.
