Protect your brand safety with Ad Controls
Ad Controls is a new feature available in the Monetize Dashboard that helps you manage, review, and optimize the ad content shown in your apps. It lets you selectively block ad creatives so you can maximize your revenue opportunities while ensuring your brand safety requirements are met.

iOS support package update
Our latest v1.1 update provides support for Apple’s requestTrackingAuthorization callback so you don’t have to add it manually in your app.
We have also implemented Apple’s preferred method for updating conversion values and corrected an issue with the context screen sample where it may display on subsequent application launches. This update is optional for all Unity customers.

Default placements transitioning to Unity Standard Ad Units
Unity Standard Ad Units now automatically sets the default ad unit as an interstitial format using the Show API. This format is not editable so if you do not want to use Unity Standard Ad Units, you can change your game code to call a specific placement using the Load API.

Changing ad unit settings for skippable rewarded ads
As a result of Apple's App Store policy changes, you can now make your rewarded ads skippable. Visit Unity documentation for a step-by-step guide on updating rewarded ad units within the Settings and Ad Units pages in the dashboard.

Settings for Adjust or AppsFlyer privacy modes
This message is relevant for advertisers using Adjust’s Extended Privacy Measurement or AppsFlyer’s Aggregated Advanced Privacy Mode. However, you can skip this if you are not using either of these modes.
We are introducing new settings within the campaign details page to help you optimize your conversion model and improve your campaign performance. These new settings allow you to choose the specific privacy setting that you are using with AppsFlyer or Adjust.
To ensure optimized settings:
1. Open an app
2. Go to the campaign details page on the Acquire Dashboard
3. Check “Yes” or “No” to indicate if you are using Adjust EPM or AppsFlyer APM
4. Repeat this step for all apps that have used Adjust EPM or AppsFlyer APM
Remember to keep these settings up to date if you change the modes within Adjust or AppsFlyer.
Advertisers
Manage your campaigns via APIs
We have recently added additional API endpoints to help you programmatically manage your campaigns. This means you can now create new campaigns as well as update and delete existing ones.
Advertisers
A simplified way to add new team members
It is now simpler to add new members to your organization by going to your campaign settings page and clicking the “Add Members” button at the bottom right of the page. This feature is available for those with an Owner or Manager account.

New PIPL requirements
Starting November 1, 2021, a new privacy regulation in China called the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) took effect and may impact the way some of your Unity products work. Similar to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the PIPL protects the collection and processing of personal data, specifically for Chinese citizens.
For Advertisers using Audience Pinpointer, you may need to take action depending on whether you are using the deltaDNA SDK or the Ads SDK to send post-install data to Unity.
