Register for free and visit Unity at Digital Construction Week in London on November 24 and 25. Meet our experts, get live onsite demos, and sign up for our in-person sessions about virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), real-time 3D, and more.

Digital Construction Week (DCW) is Europe’s leading innovation and technology event for the built environment. Returning for its sixth edition, the event is designed for anyone in the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations industry who wants to learn how to use technology to build smarter.

Held at ExCeL London on November 24 and 25, DCW includes a two-day exhibition of more than 150 companies showcasing the latest tech, tools, and solutions, with interactive features and hands-on demos. Plus, there’s a free-to-attend education program packed with keynotes, seminars, panel discussions, and workshops delivered by over 250 expert speakers.

Come visit Unity at Booth B56 to get live onsite demos of Unity Reflect Review, Unity Reflect Develop, and VisualLive. Meet our experts to discover how architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) companies are harnessing real-time 3D to change the way buildings are designed, created and operated.

Making WFH more interactive and immersive: Review, and collaborate on BIM designs in real-time wherever you are and on any device to drive faster alignment with project stakeholders

Wednesday,  November 24, 2021, 4:00–4:30 pm GMT

The recent pandemic has changed our working lives forever, and meeting once a week to check how our models fit, clash, and construct is a thing of the past. It’s time to host meetings on any device, anywhere, and make design changes in real-time.

This session will demonstrate how we can change this dynamic to a new norm through better collaboration with multiple stakeholders on whatever device to consume content and through different interactive mediums, including VR/AR and the immersive room by Igloo.

Create interactive, photorealistic 3D and XR experiences with geospatial data using Unity and ESRI

Thursday, November 25, 2021, 10:30–11:00 am GMT

Game engines are the perfect tool for creating impactful, cost-effective immersive experiences. In this session, we’ll demonstrate the capabilities of the ArcGIS Maps SDK, discuss the architecture of game engine plug-ins, and present the goals and roadmap for these new developer products.

We’re excited to show you how using the ArcGIS Maps SDK with Unity enables the development of immersive, cutting-edge 3D and XR experiences with real-world data.

Creating a real-time building configurator for Revit projects

Thursday, November 25, 2021, 3:00–3:30 pm GMT

As an architecture project develops, typically many high-quality rendered images are created to show to designers’ clients. By using Unity Forma, you can apply the technology behind car configurators to architecture and interior design to make a configurator, so end customers can visualize and select from all the potential options to fully experience the final design.

Implementing AR on live construction projects: Technologies and lessons learned

Thursday, November 25, 2021, 3:30–4:00 pm GMT

The University of Wolverhampton is currently building the National Brownfield Institute (NBI) as part of a major 12-acre redevelopment of the former Springfield Brewery site in the center of Wolverhampton. The construction site is adopting new technologies for all aspects of its design and construction. In this session, we will explore the collaboration between Unity, the University, and the main contractor to implement AR – enabled with Unity VisualLive software to use with Microsoft Hololens and tablet devices. With AR, the installation can be checked with the 3D designs at every stage of the project for accuracy and quality. AR also facilitates reviewing with other stakeholders as the site progresses.
